Medik8 Sleep Glycolic is an at-home solution for glycolic acid, one of the smallest AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) that can deeply penetrate the skin. By addressing stubborn skin issues like uneven texture and a dull complexion, high strength at-home glycolic acid products, like daily toners, are readily available for regular use. However, excessive use of glycolic acid can cause irritation and damage the skin barrier. That's why at Medik8, we recommend occasional use instead of daily use. Sleep Glycolic offers a unique solution for at-home glycolic acid treatment, avoiding the potential irritation associated with daily use of super-gentle PHAs (polyhydroxy acids found in Press & Glow). With a carefully designed crystal cyclodextrin 'shell', the encapsulated glycolic acid is gradually released overnight, delivering a potent 10% active acid into the skin for optimal exfoliation results. This innovative approach harnesses the power of glycolic acid without the drawbacks.

Key Ingredients 

Glycolic Acid with the smallest particle size of all the AHAs, glycolic acid is the most powerful. It works to breakdown bonds between dead skin cells so they are easily exfoliated away to reveal fresher, newer skin cells beneath - for visibly brighter and smoother skin.
 Crystal Encapsulation a cyclodextrin-based shell which encapsulates the glycolic acid. On the skin this slowly breaks down, delivering the glycolic acid gradually into the skin to reduce irritation.
Glycerin an effective humectant ingredient, glycerin draws moisture to itself like a magnet, leaving skin feeling hydrated, soft and supple.
 Korean Clover Extract native to South Korea, Korean Clover Extract works alongside glycolic acid to support the skin’s natural overnight repair and hydration process. It can help to maintain the natural skin barrier, leaving skin brighter, healthier and in sync.

For use 2-3 times a week. After cleansing in the evening, smooth a pea-sized amount of Sleep Glycolic onto the face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eye area. Follow with other serums and night moisturiser. Leave on overnight. Always wear sunscreen the next day after using Sleep Glycolic.

A note on layering; as Sleep Glycolic is a direct acid, it should be the first step in your evening skincare routine. Layer all other serums and moisturisers over this.

If it's not right and you haven't opened it yet, you are welcome to Return It within 30 days. Reach out to our team returns@clearskinhouse.com.au for authorisation prior to returning to us in original sealed condition.
